This tea comes from a tea garden that is located in Taidong, Taiwan at an altitude of 1,000 m. This tea is plucked in the morning by a group of skilled farmers who slowly batch-roast the tea leaves over a bamboo charcoal pit. The result is a roasted tea that has a nutty and slightly smoky aroma with flavours of cinnamon and mint-chocolate.
